Ben was beyond bored when he is sent every Friday to his lame granny’s house by his dancing show addiction parents. All his granny wants to do is play scrabble and eat cabbage related foods. All was lost until ben lifted the lid of granny’s biscuit tin. What he finds inside was thousands of dollars worth of jewels. She was once an international Jewel Thief. All her life she has been plotting to steal the crown jewels. And now she needs Bens helps. But granny’s nosey neighbour is suspicious. Will Ben to follow through and help his grandma steal the crown jewels?

I would give this book a 4 out of 5. My reasoning for this is because I’m not really a fan of large books.  This book is for people who enjoy reading a combination of comedy and secrets.

For my Bloom sheet, I have to write an incident that happened in the book. My incident is about when they found something on the beach…

The day was usual for Jonty and Jock, A stroll on the beach looking for hidden treasures on the shores. While looking Jonty went a bit further up the shoreline. He yelled and choc:

“Mate lets go home eh”

“Yeah mate its getting boring and mum probably made us lunch by now”

as they were walking back Jonty stumbled over this pua looking rock,

“Eh Jonty catch!” Shouted Jonty

Choc caught the shiny rock and investigated it closely. When Jonty came close he quickly hides it in his pocket.

After a couple hours went by at Chocs house Jonty decided to go home.

No one knew what that mysterious looking rock was, but Choc had an idea. as he was walking home from Jontys house he stared wisely at the rock, he had an idea of what it was. He smelt it. Now he was clear of what it was. Ambergris.

And that’s where it began

The book wonder has been such a big sensation both in the book and the movie. At Papakaio School Room 6 I am reading that book for reading and have finished it. We have an activity sheet to do after we finish reading the book and one of them is writing an incident about something that went not to plan for the book. So here we are. Alo I am writing as one of the witnesses which will be his sister Via/Oliva=

It was going to happen daisy the dog was getting old and was going to past away soon. August got upset because of some reason about a show I didn’t tell mum that my boyfriend would be playing his instrument, it wasn’t even a big deal! Daisy had been panting a lot but not as much as she was that day. Mum called dad to tell him from when he was at work that daisy was at her last breath in life. It was hard not to cry, Daisy had always been there on the darkest days and the best of days. Mum then called an Uber to pick her up and take to her to the vet. I rush up into August’s room. I didn’t even knock and ran straight in. I took his hand and told him he has to say goodbye to Daisy, he was confused but in the back of his head, he knew what was going on.

We pat Daisy and give her a goodbye kiss. I whispered in her ear that she is the best thing that happened to us, it was true she was. Mum lifts Daisy up, She was panting a lot by the time she was ready to go. Mum said tuck yourselfs in and dad would be hoome soon. August was raining down in tears I was trying to be strong but the tears started rolling down slightly. You never would of thought that one minute your fne and one minute you cnt help but cry and hg your little brother so hard. I knew daisy would past away sooner or later. Not now though.

I am reading private peaceful and the most intense but kindest part that I have read was… When Big Jimmy Parson insulted Joe  Tommy reacted and Told him that don’t say that to my brother and attempted to punch. Tommy couldn’t do that we refused to has to nice but Big Jimmy Parson hit him he isn’t kind he’s mean but what happens next is karma. Tommie’s big brother Charlie ran to the rescue and hit Big Tommy parson and they had a scrap until a teacher came and separated then… They both got the cane of course Charlie came back and said it was worth it Tommy!

If I was in charge of the world

I’d cancel fish chowder

Alarm clock mondays,

Eels with no teeth and also

Pepper the pug.

If i was in charge of the world

There’d be longer batteries,

Carefullier cats, and

Longer seasons of netball.

If I was in charge of the world

You won’t have lonely.

You wouldn’t have dishes.

You wouldn’t have toothbrushes

Or “Don’t annoy your brother”.

You wouldn’t even have a brother!

If I was in charge of the world

A smartie chocolate ice cream with nuts layers would be a vegetable.

All sandwiches would have Nutella,

And every person who forgot to wash,

And sometimes floss,

Would still be allowed to be

In charge of the world.

Let me tell you something… I LOVE roller skating! I don’t mean Love, I mean LOVE LOVE LOVE roller skating. Even though falling on my hands hurts, I bounce back up and skate on. Nothing will ever take the joy away from roller skating. The way the four pink wheel glide across the concrete missing every bump that might send me back on the ground. But that is fine. I go right back to skateland. Even though I only just got my roller skates I can do one trick and that is turn around. The fresh air sweeping across my face feels brilliant.  Even better when you don’t fall! My roller skates have three bright, energetic  strips; one yellow, one green and one blue. This is my second day in your 6. So far it has been great!

I have found the picking up a piece a paper on one leg with my mouth and the maths because it was very challenging and I did not get, it but I will!

I am looking ford to swimming sport and doing A LOT of writing because ITS AWESOME! Also i’m looking forward to camp YAY!

I am not looking forward  to rainy days because I hate staying inside…

The best thing about being back at school is having a teacher I have always look forward to (Mr Brown!)

First blog in 2018 and in room 6! I am feeling sweet as I feel great being in a senior class and being able to be called a senior! Telling the world all about my blog and work i do over the year. I can’t wait to be able to share the work with the world! So far we haven’t but i can’t wait to write interesting stories full of awesomeness! Bring it on 2018!
